The Lake Area United Way (LAUW) is now accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) for its upcoming 2026 campaign and 2025-2026 funding cycle.
- The LOI is the first step of the funding application process.
- The LOI is designed as a preparation and screening tool to be submitted to LAUW by potential new partners.
- It is open to all qualified 501(c) 3 health and human service organizations in Muskogee and Cherokee Counties.
- The process allows potential recipients of LAUW funding to submit information about how their programs align with the focus areas of the LAUW.
- LOI's must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026. If all supporting documentation is not uploaded and the LOI is not completely filled out, then your LOI will not be reviewed as part of the Review and Admissions Process.
- Your assigned Agency Advocate will call you by Friday, April 10, 2026, to inform you of the results of your agency's LOI.
- Approved agencies will participate in the 2026 LAUW Campaign during the Fall of 2026 and complete their Agency Application in January 2025.
- Site Visits/Financial Presentations will be held during the CI Process of April 2026
